Kelmscott-Pinjarra 10th Lighthorse Memorial Troop Inc.
Since it's formation in 2001 the Kelmscott-Pinjarra Memorial Troop of the 10th Light Horse Regiment have preserved the military history of this West Australian Regiment. Members of the Regiment distinguished themselves at Quinn's Post, Pope's Hill and the The Nek on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915, and 111 members of the Regiment were decorated during their service in the Middle East.
With the assistance of grants from the Department of Veteran Affairs and Lotterywest the Troop has prepared a traveling display of Light Horse memorabilia, including letters, photographs, diaries and written stories, for display at agricultural shows and school tours.The volunteers from the Kelmscott-Pinjarra Memorial Troop are looking to visit more schools and venues around Perth metropolitan area as well as regional Western Australia.
