The 10th Light Horse - Bunbury Troop through its participation at local events is just starting to come together and gain valuable riding members to boost the troops numbers. Our troop has members of both genders and has members with previous Armed Forces experience. All the riding members are competent riders and the horses used are Australian Stock Horses and we also have Walers as well.
Having become incorporated with the Australian Light Horse Association the Troop will now continue to go from
strength to strength.

We have performed riding displays at the Bunbury Horse and Country Music show and the Dardanup Heavy Horse exhibition day the reponse has been terrific Included in the display is the art of tent pegging which has gone over very well with the public and according to some of the more mature people in the south west of WA it has been many a year since Tent Pegging has been performed in the Public arena.
The troop performs at various country shows throughout the state including Quairading, Centenary celebrations at Nungarin and Centenary celebrations at Kondinin. We were involved at Jennacubbine on Rememberance day 11th Nov where we were present for the unveiling of a rememberance plaque for Hugo Throssell the VC winner from the 10 th Light Horse in WW1.
Our troop is available for any occasion where you wish the 10 Light Horse and it's memory be displayed.
