Prince of Wales Cup

It would be difficult to imagine a more impressive trophy than the Prince of Wales Cup existing in our country today, its sheer size and beauty is a sight to behold. The cup was superbly crafted from one solid piece of Sterling Silver by D. and J. Wellby Ltd of Garrick Street in London, in 1903. The silver content is 15 kilograms, the distance from handle to handle is 1 metre. Contents wise, the cup can accommodate 53 litres. The valuation placed on the Prince of Wales Annual Challenge Cup by Kozminsky Galleries in $18,000; however the historical value of such a prize is hard to estimate.
