Colour patches for WWI uniforms are worn centrally on each shoulder with the top of the patch 1" (25mm) below the shoulder seam (refer diagram on next page). They are worn so that the Brigade colour is to the lower front edge. The above illustrations are for patches worn on the left shoulder.
